Clinical Supervision & Consultation
Our team at the Center for Transformative Healing offers supervision and consultation services. We provide research, clinical, and organizational consultation, as well as clinical supervision. Our approach is client centered, goal-driven, and integrative. Cindy, Deanna and Emily are accredited supervisors with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, allowing CTH to provide supervision to therapists-in-training, associates working toward licensure as marriage and family therapists and professional counselors. We can also provide clinical consultation to therapists from all disciplines at all levels of their career. We blend expertise with genuine care to foster your professional growth as a professional. About Our Supervisors
Emily Johnson, LMFT
Emily has over twelve years of experience in providing clinical supervision, both in academic and direct-care settings. In addition to supporting and training clinicians, Emily also has experience providing supervision of supervision, thereby guiding those who are working to become supervisors themselves. She is a state of Oregon approved supervisor as well as an AAMFT nationally approved supervisor. Emily is passionate about providing systemically-based, compassionate, equity-focused supervision and consultation and works with intentionality to support professionals in the therapy field, especially as it relates to self-of-the-therapist concerns and the prevention of burnout.
Deanna Linville, Ph.D., LMFT
Dr. Deanna Linville has over twenty years of experience providing clinical supervision & consultation, teaching therapists in and out of academic settings, and leading/conducting clinical research. She has guided hundreds of students and professionals throughout her career to develop as therapists, supervisors, and researchers. Deanna loves to help shape ideas and interests into achievable projects, research and otherwise. Grounded in systems theory and the biopsychosocial health frameworks, she has expertise in zooming out to evaluate larger systems level needs, challenges and opportunities, as well as understanding and supporting the development of individual professionals.
Cindy Hung, Ph.D., LMFT
Dr. Cindy Hung is a supervisor at Lewis and Clark College's Marriage and Family Therapy program, where she skillfully blends compassion with direction in her supervisory role. The training she received at Texas Tech University’s Family Therapy Clinic, where she provided clinical supervision to master level trainees, helped her to refine her approach to mentoring and guiding new therapists. Cindy’s supervision style is influenced by Internal Family Systems Therapy and Systemic Therapies, allowing her to nurture the growth of emerging therapists while providing a comprehensive and empathetic approach to understanding the complex dynamics of therapeutic practice. She fosters supervisees’ professional development with support and structure. Cindy's commitment to the field is evident in her dedication to enhancing the capabilities of therapists, preparing them to effectively navigate the multifaceted nature of therapy.
